Preparing For Cryptosmite (New Unenrollment Method) Works On LESS Than V120
There has been many attempts to halt unenrollment, (through Google Security Chip updates, and chrome updates) But FWSmasher has found a way past that. Unfortunately however, the patch will arrive in v120.
AT ALL COSTS, avoid updating to v120 and caub
If you want to unenroll at a later date, and are above v120, you won't be able to.
Here are some ways to prepare for this new unenrollment method:
1.
Caub to prevent updating to v120 (This can also be done using
Skiovox to get to chrome://network)
Some consequences of updating to 120 would include, a possible powerwash, and downgrading getting blocked.
2.
Downgrading to 112 for best results. They have tested on 118, and while it has achieved full unenrollment, this exploit could also achieve temporary unenrollment aswell, whih has better results in <=112
3. That's it, have fun. This exploit can come around December or possible January
Some features this exploit offers:
1. You can reenroll without going through oobe (Out Of Box Experience), bypassing sign in registration
2. You can unenroll completely
3. You can still have devmode (power-reload-escape) blocked and be unenrolled
This has been tested on dedede, octopus, and grunt boards, so it should work on latest firmware (even on v120, however unenrollment shouldn't work)
Additional Information:
1. There is a possibility your system will powerwash
2. V112 will help you re enroll much more easily
3. You can re enroll without much trouble because of how this exploit works. You should be able to login to your school account and enroll without having to sign in with an admin account
4. This exploit does require a usb/sd card
